Open enrollment of the Health Insurance Marketplace begins tomorrow—are you covered? The Northeast Ohio Outreach & Enrollment Council will have counselors available throughout NEO on Saturday, November 15, 2014 to help individuals and families get or renew coverage.
St. Vincent Charity Medical Center will have a navigator on site throughout the enrollment period to help people learn their options for health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace. The navigator will be at St. Vincent Charity on the following days:
November 20, 2014
9 am – 4 p.m.
November 25
9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
December 2-5
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Beginning December 8th and through the remainder of the enrollment period:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Psychiatric emergency services will transition from St. Vincent Charity Community Health Center to The MetroHealth System effective July 1, 2024. This is the result of the determination by the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County that psychiatric emergency services should be offered by a hospital with access to a full psychiatric emergency department. As St. Vincent Charity closes its psychiatric emergency services unit June 30, MetroHealth is preparing to open a new psychiatric emergency department on its Cleveland Heights campus later this fall. ADAMHS Board, MetroHealth and St. Vincent Charity Partner to Open Behavioral Health Crisis Center in Cleveland’s Central Neighborhood
The Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services has approved a capital grant of more than $6.8 million to a collaborative consisting of the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County, The MetroHealth System and St. Vincent Charity Community Health Center for the development of a Crisis Center that will sustain and expand behavioral health crisis care in Cuyahoga County.Read More
