Pastoral Care
Our Pastoral Care team is available to assist you and your family with your emotional and spiritual care during your stay, regardless of your religious affiliation.
Chaplains are available to pray with you, and offer counsel, support and guidance regarding treatment decisions and end-of-life issues.
If you are Catholic, you may choose to receive daily Holy Communion from a volunteer Eucharistic minister and the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick from a priest.
Our team can assist with your advanceD directives.
Please let your nurse know if you or a family member would like to speak with a Chaplain.
We offer Catholic Mass weekday mornings at 7:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Chapel. However, the Chapel is open 24 hours a day. You can find the Chapel in the West Administration Building around the corner from the top of the ramp. Patients may tune in to Channel 15 to view Mass from their hospital television.
St. Vincent Charity Medical Center also trains chaplains through its residency program.
